Seductive and full bodied

Surface : 7 hectares.

Grape varieties : 75% malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Average age: 70 years old.

Density : 5700 vineplants/ hectare.

Soil : Slopes of limestone covered by 30 cm to 1m of brown clay.

Method : Field under controlled grass. Guyot double pruning, 6 buds. High trellising (1,90m). Debudding. Thinning out the leaves. Harvest in green. Controlled yield of 30 hl/ha.

Cellar : Thermo-regulated. Modernized in 2017.

Vinification : Cold macerations. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration over an extended period to extract the aromas and give the wine all it’s strength.

Wine Tasting :
APPEARANCE : deep red Garnet colour with purple reflects.
NOSE : spices, white pepper and aromas of black fruits (plum, blackcurrant)
PALATE : A seductive and full bodied wine opening on a complex aromatic bouquet of dried fruits, coffee, spices and on the flower of violets. The well-balanced of the acidity and the freshness give a fruity wine. It can be drunk in its yougness but offer a good aging potential.

Ageing : Aged 12 months in vat to keep its freshness.

Label : An originality which graces the table elegance.

Cork : Top quality natural cork. Imbossed with the name of the Marius and vintage.

Bottles : Coniquee bottle elongated .

Packaging : Cardboard cartons of 6 (3+3) or 6 plate cases ; 12 bottles also.
